Hockey Canada and USA Hockey named the coaching staffs for their respective entries in the 2011 World Junior Hockey Championships in Buffalo.
Mississauga St. Michael's Majors coach Dave Cameron will lead the Canadian entry. Cameron served as an assistant coach with the 2009 team that won gold while he was an associate coach on the 2010 team that lost in overtime to Team USA in the gold medal game.
His assistant coaches will be Bob Boughner, coach of the two-time defending Memorial Cup-champion Windsor Spitfires; Ryan Huska, coach of the Western Hockey League's Kelowna Rockets; and Andre Tourigny, GM and coach of the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Keith Allain, coach of the Yale Bulldogs, will coach the American entry. The tournament will mark Allain's third tour in the tournament. He also coached Team USA in 2001 and 2002. He has a pair of fifth-place finishes.
His assistant coaches will be Mark Osiecki, coach at Ohio State University; Phil Housley, who served as an assistant with Team USA in 2008; and Joe Exter, who is the goaltending coach with the US National Team Development Program in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
