OHL Cup Results (Day 3)

TPH Thunder vs. Ottawa Jr. 67's
After falling behind 1-0 in the opening period, the TPH Thunder scored three unanswered goals to beat Ottawa 3-1. Mark Petaccio, Ryan Badger and Mitchell Eisenberg scored for the Thunder while Drew Smolcynski set up a pair of goals in the win. Zack Leslie scored for Ottawa.

Thunder Bay Kings vs. Toronto Jr. Canadiens
Ryan Maggrah had a goal and an assist to lead Thunder Bay to a 5-2 win over the Jr. Canadiens. Marly Quince, Nathan Cull, Bryce Knapp and Miguel Lavoie also scored for Thunder Bay. Andrew Goldberg and Cody Bradley scored for Toronto.

York Simcoe Express vs. Eastern Ontario Wild
Anthony Fata scored two goals and set up two others as York Simcoe beat Eastern Ontario 8-2. Connor Crisp added a pair of goals while Gabriel Greco and Robert Rawlins had a goal and an assist each. Beau Halkidis and Chris Tierney also scored in the win. Matt LeMasurier set up three goals and Brendan Miller set up two as well for the Express. Justin Pellerin-Blanchard and Carl Faucher scored for Eastern Ontario.

Toronto Young Nats vs. NOHA Wolves
Highly-touted prospect Matthew Campagna set up three goals to pace the Young Nats to a 4-1 win over the NOHA reps. Jamie Lewis had a goal and an assist in the win while
Austin Russell, C.J. Shugart and Cosimo Fontana also scored. Kaden Ruest scored for the Wolves.

Ottawa Valley Titans vs. Markham Waxers
Sam Shutt scored five minutes into the third period to give the Ottawa Valley Titans a 2-2 tie with Markham. Dean Galasso had a goal and an assist for Ottawa. Brendon Pentaleo and Mathew Dunlop scored for Markham.

Mississauga Rebels vs. Whitby Wildcats
Patryk Wojenski scored a pair of goals to lead the Rebels to a 3-1 win over Whitby. Sean Monahan had a goal and an assist for the Rebels while Taylor Gauld scored for Whitby.

Toronto Marlboros vs. Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs
Chris Marchese's third period goal lifted the Marlies to a 2-1 win over Elgin-Middlesex. Anthony Cortalessa scored the other Marlies goal while Ryan Rupert scored for the Chiefs.

London Jr. Knights vs. Oakville Rangers
Zack Avolio scored late in the second period to give London a 2-1 lead they would never relinquish as they beat the Oakville Rangers. Ryan Tuffin also scored for the Knights while Braden Wallace scored the lone goal for the Rangers.
