OHL Cup Day 2 Results

Toronto Young Nationals vs. TPH Thunder
The Toronto Young Nats improved to 2-0 thanks to a 5-4 win over the lone American entry in the tournament. Daniel Milne led the Nats with three goals and an assist in the win while Matthew Campagna added a goal and a pair of assists. Jamie Lewis added a goal and an assist while Jesse Graham set up a pair of goals for the Nats. Ryan Badger, Drew Smolcynski and Mark Petaccio had a goal and an assist each for the Thunder while Ian Spencer also scored.

Toronto Jr. Canadiens vs. Eastern Ontario Wild
Cody Bradley scored a goal and set up two others as the Toronto Jr. Canadiens beat Eastern Ontario 6-3. In all six different players scored goals for the Canadiens. Daniel Lombardi, Adam Chapman, Danny Liscio, Brett Seldon and Andrew Goldberg also scored for Toronto. Kevin Hope, Pier-Olivier Fournier and Justin Pellerin-Blanchard scored for Eastern Ontario. Connor Primeau set up a pair of goals for the Wild.

Toronto Marlboros vs. Ottawa Valley Titans
Anthony Cortelessa scored a pair of goals and Patrick McCarron set up three as the Marlies defeated Ottawa 5-0. Scott Laughton scored a goal and set up another while Chris Marchese and Kyle Soman assisted on a pair of goals each. Adam Pelech and Matthew Finn also scored in the win.

NOHA Wolves vs. Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs
Maxime Lamontagne scored a pair of goals as the NOHA representative scored a 2-2 tie with Hamilton. Drew Luciani added a pair of assists for the Wolves. Luke Cairns and Jarrod Maidens scored for Hamilton.

Huron Perth Lakers vs. York Simcoe Express
A third period goal by Gabriel Greco gave York Simcoe a 1-1 tie with Huron Perth. Braden Wiffen scored for Huron Perth.

Markham Waxers vs. Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs
Brendan Gaunce scored a goal and assisted on another as Markham blanked Elgin-Middlesex 3-0. Erik DeLaurentis and Brandon Pantaleo also scored. Wyatt Pickerell picked up the shutout.

London Jr. Knights vs. Whitby Wildcats
Stavros Mandrapilias' second period power play goal was all that was needed as London upended Whitby 1-0. Justin Tugwell picked up the shutout.

ississauga Reps vs. Mississauga Rebels
Patryk Wojenski had a goal and an assist to hel the Rebels to a 3-2 victory over their cross-town rivals. John Najafi's third period goal held up as the winner. Brett Gustavsen also scored for the Rebels. Ryan Lomberg scored both goals for the Reps.

Thunder Bay Kings vs. Eastern Ontario Wild
Marty Quince, Brandon Wolframe and Ryan Megrah scored a goal and assist each to pace Thunder Bay to a 4-0 win over Eastern Ontario. Miguel Lavoie also scored for the Kings while Carter McEachern picked up the shutout.

Toronto Young Nats vs. Ottawa Jr. 67's
Matthew Campagna continued his solid play in the tournament with a goal and an assist as the Young Nats blanked the 67's 2-0. Brandon Johnston also scored while Michael Stiliadis picked up the shutout.

TPH Thunder vs. Hamilton Jr. Bulldogs
Adam Wilcox had a goal and two assists as the Thunder beat Hamilton 5-1. Matthew Gaudreau added a goal and an assist while Bron Loiselle, Drew Smolcynski and Joseph Vuolo also scored. Ryan Badger added a pair of assists in the win. Jarrod Maidens scored the lone goal for Hamilton.

Clarington Toros vs. Toronto Marlboros
Brodie Tutton's second period goal held up as the winner as Clarington beat Toronto 3-2. Garret Hooey and Thomas Garrity also scored for the Toros. Anthony Cortelessa and Scott Laughton scored for the Marlies in the loss.

Ottawa Valley Titans vs. Elgin-Middlesex Chiefs
Stephen Bayliss scored int he final minute of overtime to give Ottawa Valley a 3-2 win over Elgin-Middlesex. Dean Galasso added a goal and an assist while Ty Whitelock also scored in the win. Patrice Wren set up a pair of goals in the win. Ryan Rupert and Jordan Babb scored in the loss for the Chiefs.

Huron Perth Lakers vs. Toronto Jr. Canadiens
Jerry Ennett's first period power play goal held up as the winner as Huron Perth narrowly beat Toronto 2-1. Ray Huether also scored for the Lakers while James Pitsadiotis scored for the Jr. Canadiens in the loss.

London Jr. Knights vs. Mississauga Reps
Michael Clarke scored for London while Slater Dogget scored for Mississauga as then two teams skated to a 1-1 tie.

Oakville Rangers vs. Mississauga Rebels
Jacob Hand scored a pair of first-period goals as Oakville picked up a 2-1 victory over the Rebels. Zachary Fung scored the lone goal for the Rebels.
